Supporting a major LNG plant in Kazakhstan

Since 2013, IMBU supports Zhaikmunai LLP with condition & performance analytics on Ariel and MyCom compressors.

As so many oil and gas operators, Zhaikmunai operations are remotely located. To be physically present on-site takes a few days of travel. Back in 2013, Zhaikmunai, therefore, chose to partner with IMBU to work on a permanent “digital presence” in the Chinarevskoye oil-field. The continuous availability of condition- and performance data created a base, for ZKM and IMBU, to stay in sync on a permanent basis, jointly working on finding issues early and further optimizing compressor availability.

As an early adopter, Zhaikmunai operations have strongly benefitted from this approach leading to the improved overall availability of their Ariel gas-compressors (CAT engine driven) of 97+%.

Zhaikmunai is a showcase of how remote oil-and-gas operations can substantially benefit from the “digital presence” of IMBU, providing continuous support in optimizing operational efficiency.
